During Shaunna Bobrow’s makeover, Alexia Culton, professional makeup artist used the following products:

-Foundation moisturizer

Aveda tinted moisturizer with minerals. The color of your make-up should be changed according to the season.

- The Aveda concealer. A medium tone concealer is every woman’s best kept secret. It serves as an acne spot treatment as well as conceals dark circles and any other little flaw.

-Eyes – She used warm and neutral tones to bring out the coolness in Shaunna’s hazel, blue  eye tone. Browns with red hues and golden Jasper

-For redness on the cheeks, Alexia chose a peachy bronzer, “Amazonia” and a Honey pressed powder for longevity.

-For full lips, she opted for a softer color as well as a renewing lip treatment to give moisture and smoothness.

Shauna was pampered at the EJ BAIN Studio. Her hair was brightened up with a natural tone and a warmer color was foiled in to soften . This was done with a “Balayage” technique. The technique allows the natural color to grow out softer without as much demarcation lines. It is less stripy and more contemporary.

In terms of maintenance, it allows you to go longer between the retouches. 4 to 6 weeks for the all over color and every 8 to 10 weeks for the “Balayage”. It will cover up to 45% of the gray so it is not a good option if you have a lot of gray.

Her hair was cut and layered. To maintain the style and shape, a cut will be needed every 6 to 8 weeks.

It’s already time for a new makeover and this month the lucky person is Shaunna Bobrow. Shaunna is an Accountant but also a performer, yes she has a beautiful voice and sings in a quartet. Our challenge is going to be two fold, to give Shaunna the look of authority and professionalism as well as more creativity in her personal style.

The fun will begin when Shaunna will be pampered at the EJ BAIN Studio for hair and make-up. We will select the perfect ensemble for her from Her Majesty’s Closet, a Couture Consignment boutique. The Wine Flights Bar and Bistro will be hosting the after party where we will unveil Shaunna’s makeover results. The photos and the video will be posted soon after the event. Stay tuned!
