We had our first make-over on May 17th. Our “Victim” Jodi, an adorable young lady in her 30’s was eager and willing to have a make-over.

The fittings took place at SAFFEES, a locally family owned women’s clothing store in Oak park Mall – Overland Park.(KS) The boutique caters to women from the age of 18 to 90 and have done so since 1924 with fabulous brands such as Joseph Ribkoff, Sam Edelman shoes, Ci by Cookie Johnson, Miss Me, Envy……The family owns four locations in the Kansas City area. The staff is knowledgeable and is always willing to help you find the “special” outfit you need.

We had the fittings with Jodi where I explained what fit or did not fit her body type. You can see in the video the photos of the many outfits Jodi tried on as well as the before and after shots.

Jodi then spent some time with Julie Hengel from JULIE DESIGNS KC for hair and make-up. I suggest you visit Julie’s facebook page for the many  professional tips she provides.

The after-party was held at TASTE a locally owned restaurant in downtown Overland Park (KS) It was a great party with friends, delicious appetizers and martinis. Although they serve lunch and dinner, you can stop by for drinks and appetizers anytime and make this place your own friendly “neighborhood bar”.
