The way you look affects directly the way you feel, think and interact with others. Your self-image and self-esteem influences the way people respond to you.

Have you ever had a bad hair day, or a time when you felt too fat and frumpy in those skinny jeans? Have you found yourself at an event inappropriately dressed? It made you feel unattractive embarrassed and you were moody and emotional.

Well, people treat you the way you treat yourself. So, if you feel fat or talk about it, people will respond in the same way, they will perceive you as being overweight.  If you consider yourself unattractive, your body language and the way you carry yourself will reveal that.

As women, we tend to focus on our flaws instead of celebrating our assets. We all do this at one point, we listen to that negative inner voice. My thighs are too big, I have a muffin top………………… Well, its’ time to abolish that.

Have you been wearing the same hairstyle or make-up for 20 years? Are you proud to say that you can still wear your “Mom jeans”  or your bulky peasant skirt from the 1980’s?  Although these items may still fit, fashion and styles have changed, you may have a different career and your lifestyle has probably evolved.

Once in a while, we need to look in the mirror and truly reflect objectively on our image and how we want to be perceived. PERHAPS IT’S TIME FOR A MAKE-OVER. A change of hair color and a new style will definitely boost your body image and self esteem.

So, how do you feel about the image you project? How do you feel in YOUR SKIN?
